Welcome to the website of the Stratmoor Hills Water and Sanitation District.


As some of you know, the Stratmoor Hills Fire, Water and Sanitation Districts are governed by a “Board of Directors.” This group meets once a month at the Fire Station; they set goals, provide financial oversight and guidance to the District managers and staff. We have five (5) seats on each Board and three (3) of those positions are open for election this year – two (2) Directors will be elected to serve a three-year (3) term and one (1) Director will be elected to serve a one-year (1) term.

The Board of Directors Election is set for Tuesday, May 3, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. at the Fire Station. The Call for Nomination’s is Sunday, January 23rd thru Thursday, February 17, 2022; with a deadline of Friday, February 25, 2022, to submit a Self-Nomination Form. The last day to file Affidavits of Intent to be a Write-In Candidate with the DEO is Monday, February 28, 2022.

When considering running for a seat on the Board of Directors please keep in mind that all three (3) Districts are separate entities, and each has their own Board of Directors that governs it. We have been very fortunate for many years that all three Districts have had the same five Board members. If you decide to run for a position, you should consider running for all three Districts. All three Districts need someone who has the time, commitment, and the desire to help improve the District and the ability to lead the Districts into the future.

We invite all interested residents (must have lived in the District for more than 30-days), homeowners and property owners to self-nominate by visiting the Fire Department at 2160 B Street, Monday – Friday between the hours of 08:30 – 5:00 pm before Friday, February 25, 2022, to fill out your application. This is an important and fulfilling opportunity for those of you who want to help guide the future and support and serve the residents of this area.
